This is my first time having a vehicle detailed, what do I need to do to get ready?

Congratulations on making the decision to give your vehicle the royal treatment with a professional detailing service! At Premium Shine, we're committed to providing that "new car" feel with every detail job. To ensure that your experience is seamless and your vehicle receives the best possible treatment, here's a comprehensive guide on how to prepare your vehicle before our team arrives.

1. Clear Out Personal Items:

Before our detailing experts arrive, it's helpful to remove the majority of your personal belongings from your vehicle. While our team is highly skilled at working around items, having a clutter-free interior allows us to focus solely on the detailing process. Take this opportunity to declutter and remove items such as clothes, shoes, workout gear, strollers, and any other personal belongings.

2. Center Console and Glove Box:

While it's tempting to leave items in your center console and glove box, removing them entirely ensures a thorough cleaning process. Our detailing experts will clean around any items left inside, but for the deepest clean possible, consider clearing out these compartments entirely.  Our team will clean around any items left inside, but if spills or debris are present, we may need to temporarily remove your belongings for a deeper clean.

Tip: Use this opportunity to organize the contents of your center console and glove box. Dispose of any unnecessary items and neatly arrange essential documents, such as registration papers and insurance cards, for easy access.

3. Child Car Seats:

For parents, the safety and cleanliness of their child's car seat are paramount. Rest assured, you can leave your child's car seat securely installed in your vehicle. Our team is trained to handle car seats with care, removing them during the detailing process and cleaning them thoroughly. When we are finished with the detail we will put the car seat back in sideways or backwards of how we found it so you know you need to re-secure your precious cargo.

4. What to do if you don’t have it in you to “move-out” of your vehicle:

We understand that keeping up with clutter in your vehicle can be overwhelming, especially for busy individuals. If you find yourself struggling to clear out personal items before our arrival, don't worry! Simply provide us with a box or tote to store larger items during the detailing process.  We can remove all of that sports gear from the trunk, or the clothes that you just don’t have it in you to take into the house.  If it is a large amount of items, there may be an upcharge for the extra time spent securing your belongings.

5. Valuables and Trash:

During the detailing process, our team pays special attention to valuables and trash scattered throughout your vehicle. We use small cups to collect items such as coins, pens, and business cards, ensuring that nothing gets misplaced or overlooked.  We will throw away anything that is obviously trash such as empty food packages, half drank water bottles, straw wrappers.  It is of the utmost importance to us that you get your valuables back, in an orderly fashion.  We don’t want to put your sticky coins back in that clean cup holder, thus the cup.  We love finding “treasures” in vehicles and returning them in the Tiny cup of treasures.

In Conclusion:

By following these simple steps to prepare your vehicle for detailing, you'll help us provide the best possible service and ensure that your vehicle receives the attention it deserves. Remember, a well-prepared vehicle not only enhances the detailing process but also prolongs the cleanliness and freshness of your interior.

Sit back, relax, and get ready to experience that "new car" feeling all over again with Premium Shine! We're dedicated to exceeding your expectations and delivering unparalleled results with every detail job.
